I wanted to create 2 courses based on the different stages that I have experienced with my own practice.
Learn to Pause, is designed for those just beginning a practice, and who may find the stillness or silences a little challenging, so you’ll benefit from more guidance.
The Daily Pause, is for those who are comfortable with longer stretches of stillness and silence, and who may have more time to practice each day.
Neither is better - the one that meets you where you are now is the best choice for you!

Each audio combines an outline of the daily theme, and the relevant meditation. So I’ll discuss the theme first, and then we’ll practice together.
Learn to Pause,: 6-9 minutes
The Daily Pause, : 12-16 minutes

All you need is an open-mind, a willingness to explore, and a commitment to showing up each day exactly as you are. A place to sit where you won’t be disturbed by others, and a journal are other nice-to-haves. You might notice things that you want to jot down which I recommend waiting to do until the end of each session.

Yes! Learn to Pause, is the course for you!
Firstly - congratulate yourself for taking the first step of even considering to start a mindfulness journey (welcome to the beginning of the rest of your life!)
When I started to meditate, I found it really difficult to sit still without distraction and found it frustrating to listen to guidance that told me to ‘relax’ (this was far from how I was feeling!) I wanted to create a course for others who might be feeling the same.

The meditations are available for you to listen to as many times as you want. Repeating them often will allow you to connect deeply with the themes and absorb the insights for integration in day to day life.
If you get bored repeating them, this is something to explore - maybe boredom shows up easily in other areas of your life too!
-
The course will provide guidance for integrating mindfulness into your daily life in various contexts such as work, relationships, self-compassion and gratitude.
Think of these session like training ground for real life!

Mindfulness is a specific form of meditation focused on non-judgmental awareness of the present moment.
So it teaches us how to become present, without any goal of feeling a certain way. Mindfulness is both a formal meditation practice and a way of being that can be integrated into daily life for greater well-being.
